SmartLight™ Theater Lighting Software
New! Learn about SmartLight™ Version 2.0, our new version! Version 2.0 provides new functionality and an even more powerful and easy-to-use graphical user interface.
SmartLight™ software turns your Windows PC into a full function light board, providing big theater functionality on little theater budget!
SmartLight™ can control up to 512 dimmer channels (DMX devices) that can be mapped to up to 512 fader controls. Powerful yet easy-to-use graphical interface allows you to define and store preset lighting cues that can be defined to control any lighting production.
SmartLight™ provides the following functions: (bolded items are new to Version 2.0)
- Preset lighting cues (unlimited) - allows you to define an entire show of cues that can be saved as a lighting script (called a Theater Stack)
- Linked cues - to create complex 1-directional lighting scenarios and "chases"
- Blind edit of cues during a show to ensure that the lighting matches the action on the stage
- Powerful, yet easy-to-use Graphical Interface provides:
- On screen fader controls that can be slid up and down to the desired level when defining cues
- Customer defined fader labels to match physical lighting configuration
- Ability to define preset fade in or out at various timed intervals
- Ability to define timed waits
- Soft patching screen allows you to connect any physical dimmer to any on screen fader control
- Powerful and improved cue editor makes inserting and modifying existing cues easy
- Tracking, Blocking and Protected cue types. Tracking cues allow fader levels to be easily updated across subsequent cues. Blocking cues define where a tracked level stops. A Tracking panel provides easily visualization of cue types via color
- Stage Fader and Preview Fader panels provide visualization of current and next cue fader levels
- Groups allow multiple faders to be changed relative to their respective positions
- Grand Master - The Grand Master is a slider that governs the maximum output levels across all faders. Usually this is set to 100 percent, but is useful for controlling global fade-in or fade-out effects
- Command Line - provides a convenient way to edit cue data and control SmartLight™ functionality
- Show saves - shows can be easily saved and retrieved
